Itinerary

Day 1 :   Srinagar to Sonamarg

  • Arrive in Srinagar and transfer to Sonamarg.
  • Overnight stay in Sonamarg.

Day 2 :   Sonamarg to Nichnai

  • Start the trek from Sonamarg towards Nichnai.
  • Trek through lush meadows and birch forests.
  • Camp overnight in Nichnai.

Day 3 :   Nichnai to Vishansar Lake

  • Cross the Nichnai Pass (13,500 ft) and descend to Vishansar Lake.
  • Explore the serene Vishansar Lake.
  • Overnight camping by the lake.

Day 4 :   Vishansar Lake to Gadsar via Krishansar Lake

  • Trek to Gadsar Lake, passing through Krishansar Lake and Gadsar Pass (13,800 ft).
  • Witness the stunning views of the surrounding peaks.
  • Camp overnight by the Gadsar Lake.

Day 5 :   Gadsar to Satsar

  • Trek through rocky terrains and green meadows to reach Satsar Lake.
  • Overnight camping near the lake.

Day 6 :   Satsar to Gangbal Twin Lakes

  • Trek to Gangbal, passing through Zaj Pass (13,000 ft).
  • Explore the twin lakes of Gangbal and Nundkol.
  • Overnight camping by the lakes.

Day 7 :   Gangbal to Naranag and Return to Srinagar

  • Descend towards Naranag village.
  • Drive back to Srinagar for departure.
