Day 1: Delhi to Manali (Volvo Bus)
  • All traveller must reach Delhi by 4:00 PM. From Delhi, head to Majnu Ka Tilla, and the nearest Metro Station is “Vidhan Sabha.”
  • There, you can hire an Auto or Rickshaw to reach Majnu Ka Tilla, known for its Tibetan market and delightful restaurants offering great cuisine.
  • You can explore the market and visit a small monastery. Our Volvo bus will be waiting for you.
  • After checking into the Volvo bus, we will embark on an overnight journey to Manali.
  • Overnight traveling in the Volvo bus.
Day 2: Arrival in Manali
  • Early morning, you will reach Manali. After reaching the hotel (details provided by the salesperson), check-in, take some rest, and visit nearby places in Manali like Mall Road and Hidimba Devi Temple.
  • In the evening, at 7:00 PM, there will be a briefing session where you will meet the team marshal, who will explain the routes, rules, regulations, and riding in the Himalayas in detail.
  • Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 3: Manali to Serchu via Baralacha Pass
  • After an early morning breakfast, we ride towards Serchu, covering a distance of 180 km in 7-8 hours.
  • The terrain is of intermediate difficulty. En route, we will pass through the 9 km long Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet.
  • You will also visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and cross places like Sisu, Keylong, Jispa, and Darcha. Cross the snow-covered Baralacha Pass at 15,910 feet. Serchu marks the border between Himachal and Ladakh.
  • Overnight stay at a Swiss camp in Serchu.
Day 4: Serchu to Leh via Tanglang La Pass
  • Today, we travel approximately 240 km in 7-8 hours through advanced terrain.
  • You will cross 22 Gata loops, Nakila Pass, Lachungla Pass, and the More planes (Kiang Chu Thang) with 45 km of straight road.
  • You need to cross Tanglang La Pass at 5328m (17,480 ft), the highest pass on the Manali-Leh highway.
  • Overnight stay in Leh at an altitude of 3500 meters.
Day 5: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
  • Today’s ride covers a distance of 130 km in 5-6 hours on intermediate terrain.
  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road at 17,582 feet.
  • Nubra Valley is known for its sand dunes with white rolling sands and the double-humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Visit the Diskit Monastery with its 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the Shayok River.
  • You can also do adventure activities in Nubra Valley.
  • Overnight stay at a Swiss camp in Hunder (3150m).
Day 6: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route
  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh), covering a distance of 180 km in approximately 7-8 hours.
  • The terrain is advanced, with off-roading and water crossings. Reach the lake by evening and be amazed by its beauty amidst the mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude saltwater lake, with 70% in China and 30% in India. Pangong Lake’s altitude is 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at a Pangong campsite.
Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla Pass
  • Today, we head back to Leh, covering a distance of 180 km in 6-7 hours.
  • Early in the morning, capture a beautiful sunrise time-lapse at Pangong Lake.
  • On the way, cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m. Visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8: Leh to Wakha via Lamayuru
  • Today morning, depart towards Wakha-Mulbekh, covering a distance of 180 km in about 6-7 hours.
  • The terrain is mostly basic highway. En route, you’ll cross famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill, and Sham Valley.
  • Lamayuru, popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland, resembles the surface of the moon.
  • Cross Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass. Visit the Maitreya Buddha at Wakha-Mulbek, a stone-carved statue.
  • Overnight stay at Wakha.
Day 9: Wakha-Mulbek to Sonamarg via Zojila Pass
  • In the morning, head towards Sonamarg, covering a distance of 170 km in about 6-7 hours.
  • The terrain is intermediate. En route, visit the War Memorial at Drass, the world’s second coldest place.
  • Cross the famous Zojila Pass. Today is your last day of riding.
  • Overnight stay at Sonamarg.
Day 10: Sonamarg to Srinagar by Tempo Traveller
  • After breakfast, around 9:00 AM, we will drop you at Srinagar Dal Lake. We hope you all board your flight with sweet memories and smiles on your faces.

    How to Reach:

      • To reach Leh by air, book a flight to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, or Srinagar. The flight takes approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours. After landing, acclimatize to the high altitude and begin your Leh adventure. Remember to check travel guidelines and any required permits beforehand.

    Things to Carry

    Warm Clothing: Ladakh’s high altitude brings cold temperatures, especially in the mornings and evenings. Pack warm layers, including sweaters, jackets, thermals, socks, and gloves.

    • Payments can be made either all at once or in 4 parts.
    • After processing the booking amount, you will receive an email regarding your booking confirmation.
